  • Bachelor of Education
  • Accredited Teacher Status (ATS) from the British Dyslexia Association
  • Level 5 qualification in teaching learners with dyslexia

Experience

  • 40 years of teaching experience
  • Worked at Market Weighton Infant School in East Yorkshire
  • Taught at Lorna Whiston English Enrichment School in Singapore

Personal Connection

My youngest son was diagnosed with dyslexia at age 9, providing me with personal insight into the challenges and the importance of early intervention. I’m proud to share that he graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Calgary. 


With the right support and effective strategies, he not only succeeded in school but also continues to thrive in his career. 

Passion for Teaching

I am inspired by the opportunity to teach children with dyslexia. My goal is to unlock their potential and help them gain confidence in themselves and their abilities.

I have an Enhanced DBS certificate, professional civil liability, and public liability insurance. I also conduct thorough risk assessments to ensure a safe learning environment.
